Job Description:
L'BLASSA ART SPACE, a contemporary art gallery in Marrakech, is seeking an experienced gallerist to organize exhibitions, managing sales, and communicating with clients. The candidate should have a passion for contemporary art, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize exhibitions and other events at the gallery
- Manage sales and customer relations, including responding to inquiries and processing transactions
- Communicate with artists, curators, and other stakeholders in the art world
- Develop marketing materials, including press releases, social media postsand stories, and email newsletters
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as record keeping, inventory management, and scheduling appointments
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in art history, fine arts, or a related field
- Experience in a similar field is required
- Knowledge of contemporary art and the art market
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
