Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the Learner & Mentorship Program
Provide assistance to candidates with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) applications
Assist with Client Supplier Registrations and ensure regular updates
Compile comprehensive employee files prior to their start date
Conduct training sessions for new employees on Deltek, specifically for time sheets and expense claims, to enhance their productivity from day one
Reconcile leave transactions on Sage 300 and Deltek timesheets report, ensuring accurate leave balances
Offer administrative support to the HR function, including record keeping, managing employee files, and performing various HR Generalist duties as required
Assist with training applications and booking processes
Maintain an organized filing system
Alternate between switchboard management and receptionist duties
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 (essential)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient computer skills, particularly with Windows, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrates excellent professional work standards
- Ability to thrive under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively
- Outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal form - fully bilingual
- Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills, maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with others
- Upholds confidentiality and ensures the privacy of employee information
- Reliable attendance and dependability - consistently reports to work on time and rarely absent
