Hiring Freight Manager
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of the import and export process, including documentation, custom clearance, shipping, and logistics coordination.
· Ensure compliance with global regulations, including but not limited to customs requirements, trade agreements, and export controls.
· Manage the company’s interface using customs authorities.
· Keep abreast with relevant import and export regulations, tariffs, embargoes, and trade sanctions imposed by various countries and regulatory bodies.
· Maintain organize and auditable records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
· Establish and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other service providers.
· Continuously evaluate and improve import and export processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risk.
· Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, sales, Finance, and other regulatory authorities to ensure smooth coordination of import and export activities.
· Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on import/export requirements, regulations, and logistics considerations Requirements:
· Candidate must have minimum of 8-10 years experience in Freight Management specifically in the UAE Freezone
. Should have experience in Africa, Europe & USA Market is mandatory.
· Familiarity with Incoterms and International Shipping Practices
· In-depth understanding of global customs regulations, trade compliance, and documentation requirements
